Privacy and cookies
What this site stores, what it does not, and the facts that still have to be established before this notice can be called final.
This notice is not final. A privacy notice can only be written once the controller, the hosting arrangements, the processors and the target markets are known, and none of those are settled yet. What follows describes the site as it currently behaves, with every unresolved fact marked. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must not be relied on as if it had.
Who is responsible for your data

What this site actually stores
The site is deliberately minimal. As it stands, it sets exactly one cookie of its own:

In addition, WordPress sets session and authentication cookies for logged-in editors only. A visitor who does not log in receives none of them.
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session replay, no heat mapping, no third-party tag manager. Nothing loads before you have consented to it, because there is nothing optional to load.
There are no third-party requests. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font CDN, so no external provider receives your IP address as a side effect of reading a page.
Why there is no cookie banner
A banner is only meaningful if refusing it changes what happens. The single cookie this site sets is created by an action you take deliberately — choosing a country — and exists solely to deliver the thing you asked for. Adding a consent dialogue that governs nothing would be decoration, and decoration of exactly the kind that trains people to click through real consent requests.
If analytics or advertising technology is ever added, a working consent mechanism must be built first: one that blocks the script until consent is given, records the choice, and allows it to be withdrawn as easily as it was given. That is a launch prerequisite, not an afterthought.
The contact form
If you send us a message, we store the name, e-mail address, subject and message you provide, and the time we received it. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of corrections.
- Where it is stored: in this site's own database.
- Who can see it: [to be confirmed: the named editorial staff who will hold dashboard accounts].
- How long it is kept: [to be confirmed: a retention period, which should be set deliberately rather than by default].
- Spam handling: the form uses a hidden field and a minimum completion time. Neither involves a third party, and neither stores anything extra about you.
Links to gambling operators
When you follow a link to an operator, you leave this site and that operator's own privacy policy applies. The link may carry a tracking parameter that allows the operator to attribute your visit to us — that is how affiliate commission is calculated, and it is described in the affiliate disclosure.
We do not receive your name, your account details, your balance or your activity from operators. What we receive is aggregated reporting.
Server logs
Staging placeholder — hosting has not been chosen. Nearly all hosting produces access logs containing IP addresses. Before launch this section must state the provider, where the logs are held, how long they are retained, and the legal basis for keeping them.
Your rights
Where data protection law applies to you, you have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your supervisory authority.
Staging placeholder — the exact set of rights, the identity of the lead supervisory authority and the procedure for exercising them depend on where the controller is established and which markets are targeted. Both are unresolved.
International transfers
Staging placeholder — cannot be described before the hosting provider and any processors are chosen.
Changes
We will date any material change to this notice at the foot of the page. The current version describes a preview build that is not open to the public.
